Membership Expectations
The Santa Clarita Master Chorale is committed to artistic excellence. Members must re-audition annually. There is a strict attendance policy: if more than two rehearsals are missed per concert, participation in the concert is not permitted.  Dress rehearsals may not be missed under any circumstances.

Members are required to pay $150 annually in dues, provide for their concert attire and concert folder according to Chorale specifications, and provide their own music for the March concert.

Members must also volunteer a minimum of 16 hours per season and are expected to actively support fund-raising activities and participate in community benefit performances when scheduled.

Financial Assistance

The Executive Board realizes that a situation or circumstance may occur for an individual where the financial aspect of membership could cause hardship. With this in mind, the Executive Board has approved that assistance may be available on a case-by-case anonymous basis. Inquiries should be directed to the Artistic Director.
